Walter Kortschak: Academy of Distinguished Engineers - 2010

Following OSU graduation in 1981, Mr. Kortschak completed his MBA from UCLA in 1986. Mr. Kortschak started his career at Crosspoint Venture Partners, becoming Vice President and Associate. He joined Summit Partners in 1989, and is presently a managing partner overseeing the firm’s West Coast office in Palo Alto. In 2008, he was named to the Forbes “Midas” list for the sixth consecutive year, ranking 65th of the nation’s top 100 venture investors. Walter and his wife established the Kortschak Family Foundation in 2002, which supports educational programs that enhance academic achievement.
